How scoring works
BidIndex is a fit score, not a chance of winning.
Deal-breakers you turn on change the label, never the number.
Flags like scope outside your section are shown, not scored.
Three parts
Project Fit, Scope Fit, and Client Fit. You set how much each one counts, and the three add up to 100. Only a part with enough information is included.
Project Fit
The kind of job you want. Distance from your office against the service area you set, plus building type.
Scope Fit
Whether the work is yours. Your CSI sections and the trade terms you set.
Client Fit
Whether you want this GC. Your client list, your rating, and what you have already logged with them.
When BidIntell has the invitation only, the label is Open & assign, Worth a look, or Likely skip, and the brief says it is an invite read. A partial read uses the same cutoffs.
Strong enough on the invitation to start an estimate. Still an invite read.
Mixed signals on the invite. Open it and decide whether the full package is worth pulling.
Weak fit on what the invitation already shows. Don't spend estimator time unless you know something the invite doesn't.
When the set includes drawings and specs, BidIntell uses the same three labels. Capacity is shown for planning and never changes the score or label.
Strong fit across the buckets. Worth pricing seriously.
Mixed signals. Open it and decide if the tradeoff is worth it.
Multiple weak factors. Not the right bid right now.
